TheThree-PointShootoutisaNationalBasketballAssociation(NBA)contestheldontheSaturdaybeforetheannualAll-StarGameaspartofAll-StarWeekend.

三分大赛是美国职业篮球联赛(NBA)的一项比赛，在每年的全明星赛之前的周六举行，是全明星周末的一部分。

Theiterationofthecontestinvolvedtenparticipants.Fromitsintroductioninto,eightparticipantswereselectedtoparticipateineachseasonsshootout.

TheRules比赛规则

Inthiscontest,participantsattempttomakeasmanythree-pointfieldgoalsaspossiblefromfivepositionsbehindthethree-pointarcinoneminute.Playersbeginshootingfromonecornerofthecourt,andmovefromstationtostationalongthethree-pointarcuntiltheyreachtheothercorner.Ateachshootingstationisarackwithfivebasketballs.Outofthefiveballs,fourareworthonepoint(thestandardorangeSpaldinggameballs)andthefifthone(ared/white/blueABA-styleball;oftennicknamedthe"moneyball")isworthtwopoints.

Thegoalofthiscontestistoscoreasmanypointsaspossiblewithinoneminute.Aperfectscoreusedtobe30points.Sincethecontest,arackconsistingonlyof"moneyballs"hasbeenadded,andcanbeplacedonanyofthe5spotsoftheplayerschoice,bringingupthemaximumpossiblescoreto34points.Inthecontest,twoadditionalMountainDewshotswereplacedoneachsideofthetopofthekey,worththreepointseach.Thisincreasedthemaximumpossiblescoreto40,andthetimelimitwasincreasedfrom60to70seconds.

Inthequalifyinground,eachplayerhasachancetoscoreasmanypointsaspossible.Thethreeplayerswiththetopscoresadvancetothefinals.Thefinalroundisplayedinthesamewayasthequalifyinground,butplayersshootaccordingtotheascendingorderoftheirfirst-roundscores.Ineachround,theshotsandthescoreareconfirmedbytherefereeandthetelevisioninstantreplaysystem.Thefinalroundwillbeshotinreversedirection(lefttorightcornerforaleft-handedshooterandviceversa).Inthecaseofatie,multipleextraroundsof30seconds(1minuteinthefinal)areplayedtodeterminethewinner.

在资格赛（预赛）中，每个选手都有机会获得尽可能多的分数。得分最高的三名选手进入决赛。最后一轮的比赛方式与预选赛相同，但选手按第一轮得分的升序进行比赛。在每一轮比赛中，投篮和得分由裁判和电视即时重放系统确认。最后一轮比赛将以相反的方向进行(左手射击者从左向右射击，反之亦然)。在平局的情况下，加时一轮30秒（决赛为1分钟）的比赛将决定获胜者。
